Our goals

to be an intentional place of engagement for those who share a passion for spiritual and social transformation;

to be a safe space for people from diverse backgrounds through the practice of radical hospitality, open dialogue and shared action to develop healthy people, relationships and communities;

to be a stage for emerging Maritime voices in the spheres of the arts, justice work, spiritual practice and the environment;

Our commitment to sustainability
Festimagouche is hosted by Tatamagouche Centre and its volunteers.
Tatamagouche Centre is a leader in pursuing ambitious, thoughtful, and comprehensive sustainability initiatives that:

Reduce our environmental footprint (through waste reduction, composting, recycling, water conservation, local food purchasing, toxic use reduction, etc),

Integrate social and environmental considerations (serving Fair Trade products whenever possible),

Support vibrant rural communities and justice, (with fair, living wages and inclusive hiring practices) and
-
Reduce and eliminate greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) (through efficiency upgrades that reduce our energy consumption).

All initiatives are in keeping with our mission, values, community, context, and support and enhance the long-term vitality of the Centre.

Tatamagouche Centre is a learning retreat and conference centre, recognized internationally for its experiential learning model, facilitation design, and programming related to transformational learning and spiritual deepening.
